At Math Mentors, I work with students to make math less intimidating. Whether your child needs help catching up, wants to build stronger skills, or is ready to gain confidence in class, I meet them where they are—with patience, encouragement, and strategies that make sense.
Every child learns differently. That’s why I take the time to understand your child’s unique learning style, challenges, and personality. From there, I create customized lessons that help them truly understand the “why” behind the numbers—so they don’t just get through math… they get it.
I’ve spent over 12 years tutoring and 7 years teaching in Vacaville, and I still get excited every time a student has that “aha!” moment. There’s nothing better than seeing a child light up when they finally understand something!

After School Tutoring
Sometimes kids just need someone to sit beside them and say, “Let’s figure this out together.” That’s exactly what I do during after-school tutoring sessions. I provide a calm, encouraging space where your child can ask questions freely, work through homework with guidance, and build the confidence they need to thrive in the classroom.
We don’t rush. We slow down, take it step by step, and make sure concepts really click. My goal is to help students feel more prepared, more independent, and more confident walking into school each day.
Home School Support
Homeschooling gives families the freedom to shape education in a way that works best for their child—and I’m here to make sure math feels like a natural, manageable part of that journey.
Whether you're using a set curriculum or creating your own approach, my role is to support both the student and the parent. I’ll help create consistency, offer structure, and be a resource you can count on—whether we’re working through early math foundations or preparing for pre-algebra and beyond.
